Rib Mountain Candelabra
and Old Tower

This mosaic was assembled from images taken from the top deck of the Rib Mountain observation tower in October of 2003. The red and white tower in the foreground is the old tower that was erected circa 1958, and would be razed in December of 2003. This tower was the site of the RMRA systems' antennas from 1977 to 2001. Although it appears to be taller than the new candelabra, both towers with TV antennas are about the same height. The illusion is a result of perspective.The old tower and candelabra have seven and twelve foot respective face widths.
