Wisconsin Packet Network Expanding

ARES / RACES / SKYWARN / RED CROSS 145.610 MHz packet network

The ARES / RACES / SKYWARN / RED CROSS 145.610 MHz packet network is
expanding. One of the best places to keep track of the nodes that are
maintained by Len Kreyer N9QIP, is to check:
http://userpages.itis.com/n9qip/guide.html.
The packet network is for supporting ARES / RACES / SKYWARN / RED CROSS
during emergencies, severe weather events, traffic relating to these groups,
and for these groups to use for training/drills/exercise in preparation to
respond to an emergency.
Training should cease in the event of an actual emergency in the state in
order to avoid interference with emergency traffic.
ARES / RACES / SKYWARN / RED CROSS groups are encouraged to use but not
abuse these assets. Lack of use may result in their elimination. BBS to
BBS traffic will be transmitted using the packet backbone network.
