Bill AB-368 Senate Hearing
From: Wisconsin Section Manager Don Michalski W9IXG
To: All Wisconsin Amateurs
A reminder that the Senate Committee on Universities, Housing & Government Operations hearing on AB-368 will be this October 31 held in room 201 SE starting at 10 a.m. If you plan on attending, it is advisable to be there by 9:30 to obtain seating in this small room. We encourage you to now send a message of support to the members of the committee especially if you are in the district of the Senator on the committee. If you voted for the Senator, it wouldn't hurt to mention it! The email addresses are listed below: Chairman Senator Mark Meyer (District 32), Sen.Meyer@legis.state.wi.us Members Senator Gwen Moore (District 4), Sen.Moore@legis.state.wi.us Senator Richard Grobschmidt (District 7), Sen.Grobschmidt@legis.state.wi.us Senator Dave Hansen (District 30), Sen.Hansen@legis.state.wi.us Senator Michael Ellis (District 19), Sen.Ellis@legis.state.wi.us Senator Dave Zien (District 23), Sen.Zien@legis.state.wi.us Senator Joanne Huelsman (District 11), Sen.Huelsman@legis.state.wi.us You may, also, wish to call or send an email message or letter to any Wisconsin legislator. These can be found at: www.legis.state.wi.us/wamltest It is not necessary to give long reasons of justification for the bill (certainly, the September 11 tragedy should be a major justification for passage). If you are tight for time, just saying you support it is good enough. The important thing is to get the message out. We anticipate a tough battle with the Wisconsin League of Municipalities that oppose this bill so the more letters of support, the better! Jim Lackore, AD9X, our State Government Liaison, will be giving a brief statement and answer any questions from the committee. This hearing is another step in the process of getting the bill passed. You will be called upon to provide additional support, later. Thank you for your help! 73, Don W9IXG Wisconsin section manager Donald E.
