To be announced... UW Space Place Astronomy Lecture Series
Audio on 146.82 with video simulcast on the RMATS KB9RFT 421.25 MHz ATV repeater.
This presentation is hopefully the continuation of a series of lectures to be carried on the RMRA/RMATS systems. These lectures are given monthly on various topics in astronomy at the University of Wisconsin Space Place and the Space Place Amateur Radio Center in Madison. The ultimate goal is to regularly present this series in a live interactive format.
The first program was "Why We Believe in the Big Bang", a video tape of a talk given by Prof. Robert Mathis of the University of Wisconsin Astronomy Department at the UW Space Place in Madison in January 2000. The subject dealt with the observations and conclusions that lead to the current theories concerning the origins of the universe.
