Jim Ralitz was a past member of both the RMRA and the WVRA. He was an avid participant in the ARES weather spotting nets of the mid 1970's and 1980's.
An enthusiastic traffic handler, his phonetics of "W 9 Queen Charlie Zanzibar" were familiar to net operators throughout Wisconsin.
Jim served in the U.S. Army. He was owner and operator of Jim's Supermarket in Mosinee until his retirement.
He died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at his home in Mosinee.
