Hine W. Dahlbacka of Wausau was a charter member of the RMRA.
He was born August 22nd 1915, in Bessemer, Michigan. He married Jane Maguire on May 30th 1952.
Hine was an broadcast engineer for WLBL and WHRM-FM having worked for the State of Wisconsin Educational Network for 33 years when he retired in 1980.
During the Korean War, he worked for the Burger Boat Company as a radio operator aboard mine sweepers being being delivered to the U.S. Navy from Manitowoc through the St. Lawrence Seaway to a destination on the east coast.
For the 15 years prior to his employment with the state, he worked at transmitters in Ashland and Ironwood.
He died Sunday August 14th 1994, at Wausau Hospital.
