Old Business:
Brighton Repeater:
- N9ATQ reported that the Educational Communications Board has not received the payment for the Brighton tower lease for 2010. KC9NW said he mailed it in early February. N9ATQ reported that he has checked with the bank and the check has never cleared. N9ATQ reported will send a new check.
- K9PT reported that the antennas and transmission line for the 144.81/145.41 repeater were installed on July 2nd. The repeater went on the air on July 5th.
- K9PT reported that he had paid the $1500 to the tower crew, and has requested re-imbursement.
- Additional expenses were $300 for specialized connectors.
- The total project ran about $1500 over budget. For now that expense has been covered by K9PT, although he hopes to be reimbursed.
- K9DB reported that the repeater has been well received in Medford, and at La Crosse National Weather. WX9ARX at La Crosse NWS used the repeater to contact TaylorCounty during the recent storm on July 14th that dumped up to four inches of rain and spawned at least one tornado in the area.
